Beekeeping from Passion to Profession
A honey bee colony is only as good as its queen is.
Based in beautiful Romania, ApiExpert specializes in breeding and selection of honey bees. We started our journey many years ago, we made some mistakes, we learned a lot and we met some amazing people from all over the world.
ApiExpert.eu is our playground. It’s the place where we share everything we’ve learned through the years, from breeding and selection methodologies to useful tips for both experienced and beginner beekeepers.
We strongly believe in sharing knowledge for free and empowering people. Through practical workshops, articles, tutorials and videos, we strive to provide valuable information and contribute to the development of beekeeping.
Our Queens
Thoroughly tested
Our Breeder Queens are tested for up to two years before being used in production. This ensures a high standard of quality and performance for our queens.
Strictly controlled genes
In order to implement a genuine Selection Program, the biological material must be strictly controlled. Therefore, we use artificial insemination to achieve a high degree of control.
A variety of races
We own five mating locations with excellent isolation. This allowed us to produce queens from the following races: Buckfast, Caucasian, Carpathian, Carniolan and Italian.
Testimonials
We like to think about our customers as partners and friends. See what some of them have to say about us and our products.
